About us
Lamp Community Health Centre and Mino Care have joined forces with a shared vision: to improve pediatric healthcare experiences and outcomes for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) children and their families.
Together, we've developed a specialized course for pediatric professionals who are committed to delivering culturally safe, equitable, and effective care. This partnership is rooted in the belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for in ways that respect their identity, culture, and lived experience.

Our Purpose
Many pediatric healthcare providers want to do better-but may not have the tools, training, or support they need to confidently care for BIPOC patients in a way that is truly inclusive and responsive. Our course bridges that gap by offering practical, real-world strategies and culturally informed approaches to care.

You will learn how to:
- Recognize and respond to the effects of systemic racism
- Rebuild trust with families who have been harmed by healthcare institutions
- Support your patients through complex health and social issues
- Use communication techniques that foster connection and understanding
- Collaborate with other providers to create wraparound support for your patients
